Hadrians Wall Tour

Discover a mix of sightseeing, history & heritage as you travel back in time to Roman Britain! Hadrian’s Wall marks the frontier of the Roman Empire. It stretches 72 miles long from the Solway Coast to the River Tyne. During this half-day Hadrian’s Wall tour you will be led by an experienced, knowledgeable guide and taken to various parts of the historic wall where you will get some great viewpoints, scenery and gain an insight into life in Roman Britain. Highlight of your tour will be a visit to one of the forts and museums featuring the amazing Roman Writing Tablets. 

Durham Tour

Journey to Durham via a short stop off at the Angel of the North – marvel at this unique art installation and symbol of regeneration. Explore Durham’s historic Market Place and experience fascinating stories of the buildings and colourful characters. Enjoy breathtaking views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Durham Castle & Cathedral. Hear all the stories on the beautiful Palace Green before visiting Durham Cathedral itself to gaze at the grand architecture! See stunning views of the Rose Window and peak into The College, a true hidden gem, before reaching the wonderful riverside. Stroll along the river for some of the city’s best views.

Alnwick Castle Tour

Some dream of kings and queens, while others imagine epic sieges. But many of us conjure up worlds of wizards and dragons. Alnwick Castle is a playground for your imagination that mixes the make-believe with true history. It’s been a fiercely fought battleground for the Scots and English. It’s posed as a plush home for powerful earls and dukes. And it’s starred as Hogwarts in the movies of Harry Potter. On return, travel along the beautiful Northumberland coastline past Warkworth Castle and back to Newcastle.

Newcastle Walking Tour

What better way than a walking tour to get you immersed in a city? The City Highlights walking tour duration will be 90 minutes. This tour provides a fascinating introduction to the history and culture of our wonderful city as well as delving into the stories and heritage within the surrounding region. This walk includes a steep downward slope to the Quayside, so guests with wheelchairs or limited mobility may prefer to finish the tour at Newcastle Castle. Please discuss this with the guide before the tour starts.
